About the Author:

Although best known as a food and travel writer and cookbook author, Lynn Bedford Hall is also a qualified school teacher, with several years' experience.

She feels that the love of books is vital to a child's scholastic development - to improving vocabulary, spelling and verbal skills - and an interest in exploring the world of books often starts with the parents spending time daily reading them a story.

She has worked as a cookery columnist on a number of newspapers and has also contributed to several magazines.

Lynn has a collection of very successful books under her belt, including Best of Cooking in South Africa, Scrumptious, Pick of the Bunch, the best-selling and international award-winning Fig Jam and Foxtrot and her latest title is Return to Corriebush.
