Die Biologin Margo Branch ist als Wissenschaftlerin vielseitig interessiert und hat zahlreiche Beiträge und Bücher über Bäume, Meeresflora, Pilze sowie die Fauna und Flora der Küstenbereiche von Südafrika geschrieben. Auch zahlreiche Lehrmittel, wie die preisgekrönten Coastcare Interpretive Poster Series hat sie entworfen und gestaltet. Margo Branch wurden als Auszeichnung ihrer Arbeit die Stevenson-Hamilton Silver Medal for contributions to zoology und der Lifetime Marine Communicator Award verliehen. Sie ist die Ehefrau und Co-Autorin von George Branch.
