Isabella Morris legte 2007 den Masterabschluß der University of the Witwatersrand in Schriftstellerei ab. Sie schreibt, als freiberufliche Autorin und Redakteurin, Mainstream- und Reisekolumnen für eine Vielzahl südafrikanischer Zeitschriften und bietet Workshops im den Genres Reiseschriftstellerei und Kurzgeschichten an. Die mehrfach ausgezeichnete Autorin zahlreicher Beiträge und Bücher ist mit Mark Morris verheiratet.
