Peter Joyce hat rund siebzig Titel über Reisen, Tierwelt, Biographien und seinem Fachgebiet Geschichte geschrieben. Unter seinen Büchern sind die meistverkauften in der Verlagsgeschichte Südafrikas. Peter Joyce lebt in Kapstadt, wo er nach wie vor als Autor aktiv ist.
