Dr. Ngarikutuke Tjiriange is a former Namibian minister and secretary-general of Namibia's ruling party SWAPO. As he states in his foreword to The Denied Germany's Genocide, his reasons to write this book have been deeply emotional: More than a hundred years ago, Germans decided to exterminate our ancestors and wipe them out from their country in order to create a new Germany in our country. The same happened to South Africa where that African country was intended to be turned into new Holland or New England. It did not materialize because of the heroic resistance of many African sons and daughters who sacrificed their lives for their country. Heroic personalities such as Hosea Kutako spearheaded the campaign to unite the people of the then South West Africa to demand the independence of our motherland. Now that Namibia is free I sat here in my house mesmerizing. All of a sudden I decided to write something about the genocide committed by Germany in our country, albeit not in details. Without any hesitation I took my pen and writing pad and started writing about the genocide.
