Der Südafrikaner Khuselo Mputa ist ein Sommelier.
Khuselo Mputa wurde am 03.03.1982 in Stellenbosch, Südafrika, geboren. Er besuchte von 1995-1997 die Deutsche Schule in Kapstadt und von 1998-2000 das Holy Family College. Von 2001-2002 studierte Khuselo Mputa am Institute for Hospitality Education South Africa Hotelmanagement und trat mit seiner ersten Stelle im bekannten Protea Hotel Victoria Junction in Kapstadt in das Berufsleben ein. 2002 ergab sich für Khuselo Mputa die Gelegenheit, in zweien der besten Hotels Londons zu arbeiten: 2002-2003 als Head Sommelier im Sofitel St James Brasserie Roux und 2003-2004 als Sommelier und Chef De Rang im Hush, London. Danach kehrte Khuselo Mputa nach Südafrika zurück und war 2007-2009 Head Sommelier im Belthazar Restaurant and Wine Bar, Kapstadt, von 2009-2010 Sommelier im Delaire Graff Estate, Stellenbosch und Juror beim Weinwettberwerb Diners Club Winemaker of the Year sowie für Platter’s South African Wine Guide. Von 2010-2011 war er Group Sommelier im Zuri Hotels & Resorts, Bangalore. Derzeit ist Khuselo Mputa als Sommelier in North Island Seychelles, einem Luxus-Resort, tätig.
