Marc Epprecht is Professor at the Department of Global Development Studies at Queen's University in Kingston, Canada. He has published widely since the 1990s on histories of gender and sexuality in Africa, in particular on homosexualities. His Lunch Talk will introduce his latest book "Sexuality and Social Justice in Africa. Rethinking Homophobia and Forging Resistance" (Zed Books, 2013).
