Die Basler Afrika Bibliographien machen auf ihr Forschungskolloquium „Namibian and Southern African Studies“ aufmerksam, das die BAB zusammen mit dem Zentrum für Afrikastudien der Universität Basel auch 2016 jedes Semester anbietet.

Namibian Southern African Studies 2016, ein transdisziplinäres Forschungskolloquium, wendet sich insbesondere an junge und Nachwuchsforschende und stellt aktuelle Forschungsbeiträge vor. Es findet in der Regel mittwochs von 18:20 Uhr in den Basler Afrika Bibliographien, Klosterberg 23, statt. Gäste und Studierende aller Semester sind herzlichen willkommen. Das Kolloquium zielt auf die Etablierung eines Forums für transdisziplinäre und methodologische Debatten mit lokalen und internationalen Wissenschaftlern zum südlichen Afrika, unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Namibian Studies.
