Description:

Oshindonga is a Bantu language, mainly spoken in Northern Namibia and parts of Angola. It is a standardized dialect of Oshiwambo, and is intelligible with Oshikwanyama and further Oshiwambo dialects with a standard written form. With round about 300.000, Oshindonga has the largest number of speakers in Namibia. Like in his other phrasebooks to Namibian languages, Dr. Petrus Angula Mbenzi has set up numerous common Oshindonga expressions and phrases for various occasions.
