Craig Thomassen is also a well-known South African fisherman who has travelled and fished extensively in Africa. He has worked in the tourism industry and as a fishing guide and has guided local and international clients all over Africa and on the islands. He has written articles for numerous publications including Out There, The Complete Flyfisherman, Tight Lines, The Fishing Journal, African Hunting Gazette, The South African and Ski Boat. Craig used to have a regular column in Tight Lines and currently has a column in Inwater.

Andy Coetzee, a fishing icon and one of the pioneers of salt water fly fishing in South Africa, has travelled extensively with his fishing rods, catching fish and taking photographs. His travels have taken him to some out-of-the-way places and he has had some unique experiences. He has worked as a fishing guide, guiding local and international clients in many African countries and islands. For many years Andy was a field editor for The Complete Flyfisherman and he has also been published in Out There and a number of international publications.
